Yes, I'm a Heathen/Asatruar. No, I am not a fascist nor an abetter of fascist ideologies.

Religion and politics are toxic to one another and should not be comingled without the greatest of care that one or the other or both become corrupted. Nor should bloated political corpses be clothed in the mantle of a god or Gods and called good.

It is unfortunate that many decide to marry our faith with abhorrent racialism and inhuman politics. While it is certainly not my place to say what the gods might want for us, as a Baldurswoman I'm going to have to go out on a limb here and say that quiet truth, peace, and justice are the ways in which we should treat each other, not hate and disregard.

Hehe. Based on what you are, and what I 'am', we may clash... however, I do find it very intriguing that we both honor the same gods. ^^ It's a rare and interesting thing to come across another who knows of them these days. Your art of them makes me happy. Do keep it up. ;P

Laufeysson and I do not get along, no. But I know and like quite a few Lokeans--disagreeing with someone doesn't mean you can't get along with them at all.

Oh, indeed. I wouldn't even quite call myself a Lokean, simply because, it seems, Loki would much prefer 'equals' to groveling worshipers. So the communication (and all his mischief) is much more on level ground. I could just say that I'm 'a friend' of his.

But with that, I also get along well with a fair number of the other gods. Honer them at times even. But the ways I do such wouldn't be quite the same as an Asatruar or Lokean would. Which could be a contributing reason to why I love your work so much; as I see it to be another way to honor them. :P

Also.. glad that you think that way. I've met some, very few however, who are simply intolerant, but many more, to my surprise, who are not. It is good to find such open minded people. ^^

Ah, sorry to use that term, then, if you don't use it yourself. I don't call myself Asatru either, really, since I'm not Icelandic. I'm just a Heathen, a Heidin if you want to get really specific (German through-and-though, for better or worse).

There are far too many divisions within Heathenry for my liking. We can't agree, I don't think, but if we can agree to disagree, and I wish more people would take that route. It's more important that the Gods are honored than social or political ends are served. The only Heathens I can't abide by are the violent white-supremacist type, ugh...
